With instruction including aircraft hire at £220* per hour we strive to provide a great service at a reasonable rate.
Tail Wheel Conversions
If you’re interested in broadening your ability to fly vintage aircraft from the classic Tiger Moth to the mighty Harvard; obtaining your tail wheel rating is the first step. Minimum requirements to pass ‘differences training’ consists of 5 hours (4 hours with instructor and 1 hour solo).
Biennials
Biennials creep up on pilots before they know it. Revalidate your licence with us, either in our Jodel or in your own aircraft and take the stress out of the last minute scramble to get your licence up-to-date with our resident CRI.
Revalidation
Feeling rusty and in need of a little refresher flight? Blue Sky Flights can accommodate a range of procedures from crosswind, sideslipping, short strips, PFL’s, stalling, along with the basics, circuits, radiotelephony. We’re more than happy to make you more confident in the air.
Cross Channel Checkouts
If you’re thinking of going international, we can provide cross channel checkouts and go through every detail from flight planning to your GAR, on-route procedures and what you’re likely to expect on the radio. That, and a jolly day out to France with a spot of lunch
